Pete Briger, Jr.

Co-Chairman

Mr. Briger is Co-Chairman and a Managing Partner based in Menlo Park. He serves on the Leadership Committee and is a member of several investment committees.

Prior to joining Fortress in 2002, Mr. Briger spent fifteen years at Goldman Sachs, where he became a partner in 1996. Mr. Briger serves on the board of several charitable organizations including Princeton University, the UCSF Foundation and the Guild Theatre in Menlo Park. In addition, Mr. Briger is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a member of the PayPal Digital Advisory board and a Lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Mr. Briger received a B.A. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
